Dr. Josh Pauli earned his Ph.D. in Software Engineering from NDSU in Fargo, ND and now serves as a Professor and Department Head of Cyber at The University of Arizona after 20 years at Dakota State University in Madison, SD. He has published over 30 conference and journal papers dedicated to secure software engineering, cyber operations, and risk management and has secured over $20M in external research funding from The National Security Agency, Department of Defense, and National Science Foundation. In addition to his academic appointment, Dr. Pauli also serves on the board of directors for LifeScape, Dacotah Bank, and Sanford Health Plan where he provides strategic expertise on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and risk management.
