Madi Jones

Madi is a Northern State University student athlete studying Business Administration with minors in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. As a member of the Northern State softball team, she balances being a college athlete with her passion for business and entrepreneurship.

Madi is the founder of CR8 Soda, a modern, specialty beverage drive thru concept inspired by shipping containers and crates. She recognized almost immediately after moving to Aberdeen that there was a need for drinks beyond coffee. The concept combines specialty sodas, lemonades, teas, and snacks with a modern industrial brand inspired by shipping crates.

Madi is currently preparing to launch CR8 from a mobile trailer while beginning the building process for the company’s long term location. Her goal is to open the permanent CR8 location in May 2027, bringing her original shipping crate inspired vision to life in Aberdeen.

Through CR8, Madi has gained experience in developing a business plan, building a brand, navigating the startup process, and pitching her idea to the community. Her entrepreneurial journey has allowed her to combine her education, creativity, and experiences as a student athlete to create a business she hopes will become a unique part of the Aberdeen community .
